About Commercial Energy Audits
One conviction runs through everything on this site: an energy audit should pay for itself. Compliance certificates are a by-product of measurement done properly — not the other way round.
The method, stated plainly
We analyse half-hourly meter data before anyone visits a site, survey buildings against what the data says rather than a generic checklist, and deliver findings as a costed savings register — capital cost, annual saving, payback and carbon impact on every line. Where statutory regimes apply, the same evidence base is packaged for them: ESOS evidence packs with lead assessor sign-off, SECR disclosure figures, TM44 reports lodged on the register.
Assessor credentials are verifiable, and we put them in every proposal: ESOS sign-off comes from lead assessors on the approved professional-body registers the scheme recognises, and air-conditioning inspections from accredited TM44 assessors. We would rather you checked than took it on trust — the same advice we give about every firm in this market.
What we will tell you that salespeople will not
- If you do not qualify for ESOS, we say so and the conversation costs nothing.
- If your estate's savings potential is modest — some genuinely efficient operations have little left — the proposal says that too, before you spend.
- Quick wins get flagged at survey stage rather than held back for the report. Several clients have recovered the audit fee from a setpoint correction made the same afternoon.
- If solar, batteries or plant replacement are being oversold to you elsewhere, the audit data will show it. Sizing against measured profiles is the core of our audit-to-solar pathway.
Who we serve
Three client groups dominate: organisations crossing the ESOS Phase 4 thresholds at the December 2026 qualification date; large companies producing SECR disclosures that auditors and lenders will actually read; and operators — manufacturers, logistics, hospitality, multi-site retail — whose energy line item has outgrown benign neglect. The deliverable differs by driver; the underlying measurement discipline does not.
